Father’s Day 2020

While I sit at my desk, contemplating Father’s Day and thinking about our Dad, I realized I am at another turning point in my life. One of the last conversations I had with him was about me writing a book. I don’t think I ever told him before that fateful day in 2014 on the train ride through California. It was a good conversation, and he encouraged me in my goal, telling me he was proud of me.

I now have finished the book, had it edited and approved the proof. The final step was approval for the eBook submitted Friday. Now it is just a matter of time to see it materialize. So, on this Father’s Day, I have my dad to thank for his encouragement and also my mother, who emphasized the importance of working hard and finishing what I start.

So on behalf of my siblings, Demi, Chris, David, Pat and Dad’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dad, we love you, miss you, and thank you for all you did for us.
